Pre-Convention Planning
Convention Services can help in the early planning of your event by contacting hotels, attractions and individuals that will be involved in arranging your event. We can help you select an event location and provide informative materials to encourage members of your organization to travel to your event.
Speakers Bureau
Convention Services has access to a variety of speakers for your event. Meridian Community College and a branch of Mississippi State University provide excellent sources for speakers.
Housing
Convention Services will canvass local hotels and motels for available rooms and suitable meeting space as well as coordinate all of your convention events with the facilities you have chosen. We can point you toward excellent restaurants, too.
Registration Assistance
Convention Services can provide personnel who are specially trained in Southern hospitality to be on hand to serve as registration assistants, hosts and ushers.
Promotion and Publicity
Convention Services will help you promote your event by distributing press releases to area media and making appointments for interviews.
