10:00 am - 12:30 pm Around Town Carousels Abound 

Have your picture taken with "Lightning" a beautifully painted carousel horse on display in front of Meridian's Central Fire Station. Then, take a ride by other horses placed throughout downtown Meridian. You may see "The Midas Mare," "Stars and Stripes," "Lady," or "Giddy Up Van Gough."

12:30 pm - 2:00 pm Lunch at Midtown Grill 

Enjoy pasta, salads and more at this unique downtown grill. Allow Midtown to customize the perfect menu for your group. Menu and prices available upon request

3:30 pm - 4:00 pm Dentzel Carousel 

In operation since 1909, this National Historic Landmark is the world's only two-row stationary Dentzel menagerie. Manufactured around 1895 by Gustav Dentzel of Philadelphia, Penn., the carousel features meticulously hand-carved animals of bass and poplar wood. Original oil paintings of museum quality adorn the top crown. Each piece has been restored to its original beauty. Admission: $1.00 per person for tour and ride.
