MOLLY HATCHET TO HEADLINE PEAVEY 'ROCK AT THE LAKE' CONCERT ON LABOR DAY

PEAVEY INT'L. HEADQUARTERS * Southern-rock stars Molly Hatchet and Black Stone Cherry will perform at "Rock At The Lake," a free Peavey concert at Meridian's Bonita Lakes on September 3.

"We are very excited to bring this concert to Meridian," said Mary Peavey, President of Peavey Electronics. "This will be great way to spend the Labor Day holiday: an evening of fun and great music!"

Known for its trademark Southern-rock boogie and hits like "Flirtin' With Disaster," Molly Hatchet brings a 30-year rock & roll legacy to "Rock At The Lake." Black Stone Cherry, whose musical lineage includes the Grammy®-winning Kentucky Headhunters, has logged three Billboard Mainstream Rock hits from its self-titled debut album. Nashville-based newcomer Kirsten Davies, who has already licensed her music to MTV shows "Made" and "My Super Sweet 16," will open the concert with her set of energetic hard rock.

Admission to "Rock At The Lake" is free with an official ticket, which music fans can grab during special 106.9 The Buzz and V93.5 FM radio remotes for co-sponsors Chunky River Harley Davidson, T&D Furniture, Comcast, Magnolia Beverages and Hooper's Stereo & Video. Call The Radio People at 601-693-2661 for more information on these exclusive ticketing events.

"Rock At The Lake" will feature the new Peavey-powered Jägermeister Mobile Stage, a completely self-contained, fully furnished traveling concert stage housed in a 44-foot trailer that opens to a stage measuring 34 feet wide, 19 feet deep and 20 feet high. This state-of-the-art stage showcases a Peavey Versarray* line array sound system powered by 207,000 watts of locally built Crest Audio power amplifiers, as well as a Peavey guitar-and-bass amplifier backline. "The Versarray line array system is truly amazing," said Rick Zeiler,

Director of Marketing and Brand Development at Jägermeister. "Peavey has supported the Jägermeister Music Tour since day one with amplifier backline, sound gear and sponsorships, and with this program they've turned a huge dream into reality."

The Jägermeister Mobile Stage is an official stage of Ozzfest 2007, the largest traveling music festival in the U.S., and has been selected by NASCAR, the National Hot Rod Association and the National Football League for concert events and promotions.
